Mike Carson Creative values the privacy of its clients. The following privacy policy details the type of information we collect from our clients and how that information is used.
The Information We Collect
The types of personal information we collect are:
- Name
- Address
- Email address
- Phone number
- web server information/logins (where applicable)
- Additional project contacts (where applicable)
Use of Information
The information you provide about yourself when placing an order is only used to complete that order. We do not sell our client list or share your information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your order and only then with your permission.
Porfolio Usage
Mike Carson Creative reserves the right to display samples from any project we work on in our online and presentation portfolio. We respect the privacy of our clients and in using materials for the purpose of portfolio presentation only display information which can be found in the public domain.
Listings in our online portfolio contain a sample image and description of the completed work and may also include URL where the work is dispalyed (where applicable) and the client or client company’s name. Client or client company’s personal contact information such as names, address, numbers, etc are not displayed. For marketing pieces such as media kits and business cards displayed in our portfolio, any information visible that the client would not like displayed can be altered on the sample at the client’s request.
Billing & Financial Information
Mike Carson Creative does not collect or handle the financial information of our clients. For the sake of security and privacy we use a secure third party financial handler (PayPal) to collect and transmit funds electronically. Mike Carson Creative is not responsible for the way confidential information is handled by the third party handler, however regular reviews of the handler’s privacy and securites practices are conducted to ensure that they meet the standards of quality we have set forth to our clients.
Note: There is a non-waivable 5% transaction fee for payments made by credit card. Payments made using other forms of payment are exempt from this fee. When making a payment via credit card on a standard invoice please add 5% of the billable amount to the payment. Invoices with credit card transaction fees applied can be provided by request of client.
For client’s who want to settle their account in a non-electronic method, we accept paper payments in the form of business and cashier’s checks, ONLY. Payments made in these forms are exempt from the 5% transaction fee. We do not accept personal checks as a form of payment. We DO NOT not accept personal checks, money orders, or cash.
