Mike Carson has worked in all aspects of creative marketing and interactive media development for over a decade. As a child he displayed advanced artistic talents and began studying the basics of illustration and design at the age of 12. By age 17 he had completed studies in illustration, watercolor and acrylic painting, calligraphy, and visual storytelling.
Primed to pursue a career in illustration, Mr. Carson’s career goals changed when he began taking courses in website construction. What began as a hobby evolved into a new passion and career path. After completing certification courses in website development, he began actively pursuing a career in interactive media production and management, with a focus on design and user experience. By merging his understanding of technology with his background and talents in design, Mr. Carson quickly set himself apart from many of his peers who specialized in either one area or the other.
Between 2002 and 2004 he worked as the webmaster for the small business publisher Public Utilities Reports, inc (PUR). During his two-and-a-half year tenure at PUR Mr. Carson managed and maintained the corporate website and online store in addition to overseeing the development of a new company website. In August of 2004 he was offered a position at The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) as a Web Producer. During his three-year tenure at ACC, Mr. Carson developed new web initiatives, designed online marketing materials, managed ACC’s online career center (In-house Jobline), and provided both internal and external support for the users on ACC’s online products.
Wanting to further expand his experience in creative marketing, Mr. Carson started Mike Carson Creative in the fall of 2007. During the early stages of growing the business, he served as a production specialist for National Geographic’s Places of a Lifetime, Photography, and Science & Space website projects.
Since founding the company, Mr. Carson has worked with a variety of businesses in diverse fields such as Real Estate, Medicine, Jewelry and Fashion, Philanthropy, Publishing, and Direct Marketing.

In March of 2010 Mr. Carson’s held the additional positon and duties of Vice President for the charity, completing his term on the board in April of 2011.
